To honor the passing of yet another year, here are some exciting notices for those people still in Oxford over the summer vacation. 1. Session Times Monday 2-5pm, Iffley Rugby Pitch Tuesday 2-5pm JCSG Wednesday NO SESSION Thursday 4-7pm JCSG Friday, 3-6pm Iffley Rugby Pitch Saturday 2-5pm, Iffley Rugby Pitch 2. Novice Bow Hire If you are a novice and don't have your own bow/arrows, you'll need to collect a bow from the Iffley Sports Center before shooting at Jesus College Sports Ground. To make this a little easier, our Equipment Officers this term are offering to let novices borrow a bow and set of 6 arrows for the rest of the term. Please see the 'Novice bow hire TT' email or contact EO Matthew Langton for more details. 3. Varsity Match This year, Varsity is being held on Saturday May 15th in Cambridge. After the match, the plan is to have dinner in Formal Hall before returning to Oxford on the same night for further celebration or bereavement. Hey all, welcome back to what promises to be a great term of outdoor shooting. A couple of start-of-term notices: Trinity '10 Sessions Monday 2-5pm - Iffley Rugby PitchTuesday 2-5pm - Jesus College Sports GroundWednesday 3-6pm - Iffley Rugby PitchThursday 4-7pm - Jesus College Sports GroundSaturday 2-5pm - Iffley Rugby Pitch We also have an indoor Hall session on Thursday mornings from 7-8.30pm (for bow tuning etc.) If you wish to shoot at one of these sessions, please email a committee member no later than the Tuesday before. EGM and Pub Social
We will be holding an EGM on Thursday, April 29 (1st week) to amend the constitution and vote on the motion to elect a Novice Coaching Officer. It will be at 7pm in the Basil Mitchell Room, Oriel College and it is very important that as many people as possible turn up. Please see the weekly email for more details. This will be followed by a pub trip, the location of which will be revealed at the EGM. Happy shooting! |
