Hi all,

I hope everyone who competed yesterday thoroughly enjoyed it and more importantly is ready to go again this weekend at county champs. And just in case that isn't enough excitement for you we will be having Christmas Drinks on Saturday as well so there is plenty happening.

Furthermore we have a theory session on Tuesday night at 7pm Worcester College, which will be particularly good for novices and experienced archers to attend if they are hoping to compete in future and maintain training during the Christmas Vac.

1. Sessions

Sessions are all inside at Iffley this term in the main hall, and we can shoot as long as two archers are present and one of them is experienced

Monday   0900-1200 (H2H Mondays!!!!!!) (Experienced only)
Tuesday  1300-1630 (novices from 1400)
Wednesday 0700-0900 (Experienced only)
Thursday 1300-1630 (novices from 1400)
Friday 0630-0830  (novices only)
Sunday 1700-1930 (Experienced only)

2. Tournaments
County champs this weekend I have been informed there are still a few spaces left in the morning session if anyone would like to enter

3. Fitness
Fitness will be on Monday evenings at Hinksey starting at 1830

4. Coaching
We will need everyone to help coach on the novice sessions on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays, this is the only way we can manage to keep the club going and to create a good novice team every year.

Experienced archers can also receive coaching from 17:00 on Mondays at Hinksey before Fitness thanks to Nat

Hi all,

So it's the middle of term and this weekend is the start of university indoor season and that means COMPETITION TIME. The first of which we are hosting at Iffley Road this Sunday. We are lots of people to be shooting but also will require some help setting up the range as well as judging and scoring etc, so anyone wishing to help please let me know. I therefore wish those competing the best of luck and hope training goes well this week ready for our domination at the weekend.

Furthermore If anyone would like to compete but has not yet said please let either myself or Chris know and we will try and sort it out though we do only have a limited number of places.

Hi all,

I hope you have all had a fantastic summer and are all coming back to term ready for a great year (and very eager to get shooting again). May I also say thank you to all of those who have helped the club out at freshers fair and over various events over the summer.

Again I am asking for more help though over the next few weeks, as we have novices to coach and a have a go to run at the business school, this is particularly good fun and comes with a free lunch! it will be held on Oct 24th from 1400-1700 (earlier for lunch), we could ideally do with four or five people to help run this so if you would like to volunteer please let me know.

We have many tournaments coming up and anyone interested should make sure they get shooting and watch out for the emails to sign up for BUTTS legs

Because of this there will be a Coaching for Coaches session on Sunday for all you newly experienced archers to get you up scratch thanks to Nat and Timmins

Let hope we can have a great term and I look forward to seeing everyone again and training hard, though if you just can't wait to start fitness feel free to give this a try https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QstfNC6BlBA

We must also say well done to everyone else who competed and especially to the novices who made a valiant attempt and managed to come away in fifth position. Also to Charlie Birch for her second place finish in the individual, Massively well done to everyone and an excellent way to finish term.
